In December 2006 The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS,
formerly HCFA) issued the final rule on patient restraints, i.e., COP: Patient Rights. It requires that all staff be trained initially and periodically on restraints. This video was provides most of the required training. See our Resource page for more informaiton on the rule.
